ASILROOF

ASILROOF is a synthetic, mineral, environment-friendly granular cover material on the basis of aluminium silicate glass melt, with the following technical details:

  • CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
    Aluminium silicate glass melt,
    chemical composition calculated as oxides:
    Silicon dioxide 42–58 %
    Aluminium oxide 23–32 %
    Iron(III) oxide 3–15 %
    Calcium oxide 2–8.5 %
    Potassium oxide 0.5–4.6 %
    The metals present are chemically bound in the form
    of silicates or aluminates.
  • CONTAINS NO WATER-SOLUBLE CONSTITUENTS
  • CONTAINS NO FREE CRYSTALLINE SILICIC ACID
  • Specific weight/grain density 2.4–2.6 kg/dm3
  • Bulk density, for standard grain sizes 1.05–1.4 kg/dm3
  • Mohs hardness min. 6
